The boards are from locally sourced timbers from the South West of WA. The railway spikes are forged and twisted.

New BODY WASH 🌿 Endemic to the Southwest of Western Australia, Honey Myrtle (Melaleuca teretifolia CT Citral) has an incredible fresh, sweet, sparking citrus scent. 🍋‍🟩

It belongs to the Myrtaceae family, a large group of flowering plants like the familiar : Tea Tree 🌳 and Eucalyptus.

🌿 We recently planted some of these around our property but they are just still very small. When you crush the little spiky leaves they release a lovely sweet lemony aroma. When they grow a little bit bigger, you’ll be able to get this experience hands-on with the Honey Myrtle variety that we have grown.

✨ It’s naturally found in the wild in the south southern coastal wetland areas of Western Australia in (Florabase, 2025). This particular chemo type of the melaleuca teretifolia is CT Citral.

🌿 It has many therapeutic properties and many of them being antimicrobial, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antioxidant. It also has calming properties. Just smell it…and you’ll notice it right away.💧

HOW to TRY IT? ⤵️

As with many essential oils, Honey Myrtle oil needs to be used cautiously because of its dermal sensitivity. Maximum of 1% dilution to use topically is recommended, but diffusing the oil is recommended and safe but only use a 2-3 drops as it’s very strong.

However, Botanik’s Honey Myrtle - Body Wash has been expertly crafted to be safely used on your skin, while still experiencing the incredible scent of that fresh sparkling citrus to invigorate the senses and the calm soul🍋‍🟩🌿

🎉6 Months Open! I cannot believe it’s been 1/2 a year already!! 😆 Seriously….Where did that time go?

Although January has been a little quiet (apparently that’s normal for retail) 🫣. I’ve been busy stocking up on the most popular products, creating new products and have been designing my Botanik Sanctuary - the little space off to the side where you’ll be able to book in to experience my Signature Facials & AromaTouch massage or Aromatherapy Consultations. 💆🏼‍♀️ I’ve just set up my new booking system so that it will be easy to book and add on extras too.

🌻 Well I made it this far…and I’m enjoying every minute. It’s a calming space where I get to create, hang with Ziggy 🐕and allow people to enjoy the space with a herbal cuppa. (It certainly beats teaching - I am really not sure how I did that for 25 yrs).

So…I’m looking to hear some (positive and negative) feedback from my friends and customers.

A Sneak Peak ✨into the new Botanik Sanctuary…🌿a calm space for connection to self and nature.

I’ve been busy this week with clearing out this space and trying to make it more beautiful, peaceful & relaxing. It’s getting there…😌

I’ve got a lovely lady in her 70s who’s been coming in daily for an AromaTouch session as she knows that it will help her with her mobility and hip soreness. 💛 We’ve already seen an improvement!

I’m also doing some aromatherapy facial training still and look for to offering my Botanik Signature Aromatic Facial using only Pure 100% Natural botanical ingredients. 🌿

🎉The Aromatherapy Clinic Space is Now Open! ✨Woo Hooooo!! ✨

It only took me 18 months to complete the training but I did it while setting up my business and shop and while dealing with council which drove me a little insane….🫣

So I have since registered with IICT (International Institute for Complementary Therapies) as a qualified Aromatherapy Practitioner (Specialising in Rejuvenating Skincare, Health and Wellbeing & Clinical Aromatherapy) and as a certified AromaTouch practitioner too! 👩🏼‍🎓 I’ve actually had this certification since 2020 and been using essential oils for over 10 years with dōTERRA. I’ve leant so much in my training with especially in the 6 modules on Clinical! That was intense! 🤯

My Story

I discovered and began ‘arōmaLEAF’ after wanting to diffuse essential oils when I travelled. Initially, I wanted to diffuse the repellent oils in my little bungalow in Bali, so I could prevent mosquitos coming into the room and have the freedom to open the doors & windows. Then, I also wanted them in my car and knew that most others were highly toxic, chemical fragrances that were NOT GOOD. I had been told that a wooden peg on my car vent was a good idea...but I knew I could create something much nicer!

Most beauty products and supermarket 'air fresheners' we buy, force us to place nasty chemicals on or in our bodies that are extremely hazardous to our health. The more I look around, the more I realise how many of these toxic substances are around us, from cleaning products to beauty and just basic soaps and detergents too. Anything that ‘smells nice’ and contains the term ‘fragrance’ on the list of ingredients is a highly toxic cocktail of chemicals. NASTY! Even some of the ‘Natural’ listed products still contain the term ‘fragrance’ and they might even say they are ‘organic’. This annoyed me somewhat. Quite a lot actually. What I thought I was buying at the supermarket was ‘natural’ or ‘organic’ was not really at all.

Why not get the healing benefits of pure essential oils in your home cleaning products, to smell while you drive, on the jewellery you wear, at the office or even on holiday? I would like this to be done in an eco-friendly way too that is kind to Mother Nature. I use doTERRA Essential Oils as I believe they are the purest and best in the world. They have rigorous testing and contain no contaminants. Just pure essential oil, which is the natural way.
