So the week that just was saw us put the final stones in on stage two of our Maclean project. To mark this I thought I would share a couple of before and after shots and a break down of project. The first hurdle was that we couldn’t get trucks to site or even land materials at street level. So we split and sized over 25 t of blast stone ( sandstone)off site and transported with the trusty hilux and a trailer. All materials came to site like that with over 12 m3 of sand, backing stone , cement, 20mm stone for drainage channels and road base. We have estimated over 200 mixes of mortar. Add to the mix a bit of project management including mains power , install of water tanks and fit out of shed. Now we mover into stage 3 which involves around 60m2 of sandstone crazy pave with out door shower area. It’s been a challenge that has made me pretty stoked with the out come. ✌️⚒❤️🐕.
