A gentle space for nervous systems shaped by childhood trauma.
Many of the people who find their way to my clinic have already done a lot of inner work.
They’ve been in therapy, told their stories and developed an understanding of the patterns that began in childhood.
AND THAT WORK IS SACRED AND DEEPLY COURAGEOUS
Therapy can bring awareness, insight, and language to experiences that felt overwhelming and confusing. It helps people make sense of their story.
Something I see often, especially with those living with the effects of childhood trauma is that even when the mind understands, the body can still be holding the stress response.
Anxiety
Hypervigilance
Shutdown
Dissociation
Somatic symptoms - stress, pain, tightness, digestive issues, fatigue.
The nervous system expresses what hasn’t been processed emotionally.
This is where I feel so passionate about the work I do.
Spinal Flow doesn’t replace therapy, it complements it beautifully.
While talk therapy supports the mind and emotional understanding, Spinal Flow works with the nervous system and the spine, helping the body release stored stress and shift out of survival patterns.
When the body begins to feel safe again, something powerful can happen.
The work people have already done in therapy often integrates on a deeper level as the body remembers how to regulate, soften, and heal.
Supporting people who have walked the long road of healing from childhood trauma is work that means a lot to me.
If this resonates with you, or someone you love, you’re always welcome to reach out.
