Right now, 8 in 10 Victorians say they’re feeling more distressed than before. But too often, the right support comes too late.

That’s why we’re trialling the Distress Support Service – a free, community-based service for adults offering early, short-term and practical support before things become critical.

Trained staff at local community organisations will listen, respond with care, and connect you to the right help.

Launching in Darebin and Shepparton, the trial will run until 2027, and is jointly funded by the Australian and Victorian Governments.
