Yass Valley First Aid Training offers on-site boutique training to meet your individual First Aid needs at your workplace.
I am a registered nurse based in country NSW with 10 years’ experience as a NSW Ambulance Officer in Sydney and 18 years as a qualified First Aid trainer. I have worked with Royal Lifesaving Australia, Parasol and Allen’s Training. I have also run my own training company for 15 years.
I am excited to offer personalised First Aid programs incorporating on-line and face-to-face training in ACT, Yass, and surrounding areas. We are able to travel to your location.
My goal is to make first-aid training practical, fun, enjoyable and importantly memorable. Programs can be tailored to your workplace and incorporate real-life scenarios your staff may encounter.
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (1 hr) $55.00
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (Includes CPR) (2 hr) $120.00
HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (2 hr) $140.00
(We do request a minimum of 5 students or $500.00 per private class)

CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk
This course covers performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to identify children and young people who are at risk and report in line with legislative requirements. This work occurs within legislative and policy frameworks and carries a duty of care responsibility. This unit applies to workers in a range of job roles providing services to children and young people including in community services and health contexts. Online First Aid for Parents and Carers
This course has been designed as a fully online course, covering key first aid topics for Parents and Carers of young children and babies. Key topics include, resuscitation, choking, burns, bleeding, anaphylaxis, asthma, fevers, RSV, conjunctivitis, fevers, head injuries, identifying serious illness, croup, rashes as well as hand, foot & mouth disease.

Medication Administration Refresher Training
This course is designed for Disability Support Workers who are needing to refresh their knowledge on the rules and regulations relating to assisting clients with medication.
