Have you ever wondered how breaks & fractures heal? Besides the shear magic and wonder of the human body, they regenerate. They regenerate based on flow of electron currents due to electrochemical semiconduction. This essentially means that our cells use minerals/metals as semiconductors to enhance bioelectrical activity & dispersion across tissues.

This electric current is the lifeblood of your energy. Why do you think you feel better after a cold shower or plunge? Cold also increases semiconduction.

Anatomy trains is one of the best kept secrets for human anatomy & human motion. If you don’t need to “fix” repair or optimise and simply strengthen, you probably don’t NEED to know it.


However if you are a fixer then this is your map. The why is the body you are working on and the how is represented by the map underneath.


Your bones and muscles exist within this framework. Muscles & fascia pull bones/joints into tension and suspension. This can be done well or done poorly.

Sprinting is one of the fundamental movements that a human should be able to do. It also functions as a great diagnostic tool. A human that moves well, will generally function well. IF you know what to look for, a GAIT cycle can be a fantastic predictor of strength vs weakness, imbalances and a compass for what needs to improve.

Hi Everyone.

It’s great to see a community pulling together in these hard times. I wanted to do my part too. Below is a protocol to help your body combat the symptoms/virus that’s happening.

TLDR:

Cold therapy helps
Infrared saunas are great
Get morning sunlight (30mins)
Wim Hof Breathing daily


It’s important to stipulate that there’s not enough evidence surrounding COVID 19 so we can’t exactly say that what would help a flu would do the same for COVID 19.


Some of the things that we have learned is that Vit C does work as a buffer. This has been observed in having a larger impact on populations that have lower Vit-C in the blood. Vit C does behave like insulin in the blood. Meaning those with compromised/poor insulin will be at higher risk.


This brings me to the stress hormone. Cortisol and Insulin work as a seesaw with one lowering the other. The key thing here is cortisol suppresses the immune system so you need to do everything you can to remain calm and collected. Therefore if you have to go to the shops, best to go at a quieter time and deal with what you can or maybe meditate before you go.


There are things we can do to mitigate the stress hormones and help boost the immune system. I will talk about foods and supplements towards the bottom.

Sunlight ☀️

UV morning light has been shown to have amazing effects on the body. From boosting circadian rhythm, to helping in neurotransmitter production and even boosting immunity via Vit D. Practice 30mins early morning sun bathing with ideally as much skin exposed as possible. The more you soak up, the more fuel you give your body. You can boost your immunity further with an infrared sauna visit too! 💪🏻


Cold therapy 🥶

A daily cold shower can do so much for activating the immune system and priming the stress response. This combined with the WHM will leave you feeling great but importantly energised and ready to deal with the onslaught of stress happening right now.


Infrared Sauna 🔴

Daily exposure has been shown to benefit almost everything from boosting s*x hormones and boosting detoxification. Pair with the cold therapy for extra benefits.


Start by getting 30mins sunlight in the morning and a daily cold shower (end on cold) and build the time up as you go.

The did you know series...

"Glyphophosphate is the most used herbicide worldwide".

This study did not observe any interactions with fetal growth indicators, however it did observe shorter gestation periods.

Ultimately meaning babies spending less time in the oven because of the pesticides used on the foods we eat.
We all need to seriously look at wht we consume. A handy little trip to the supermarket for dinner? You are paying more than whats on your reciept.

Unfortunately, you have to be the one to be warey of everything. You cant wait around for legislation to change on plastic wrapping of foods, or for Glyphosate to be banned in Aus (most countries around the world have already banned it).

I find it hard to belive that if healthy products/organic foods we free that people would say no to them. However put a price tag of money and subsequent effort required on them and people suddenly think im obsessive again.

Clean up your environment, get rid of the processed sugars, drink mineral water and start to heal your gut.

There are so many supplements out there, how do you know what to take!?

The answer is both simple and complex. The simplicity of it is that you need to supplement what your not getting from your diet. The complexity is figuring out what impact the environment has on your body, which dictates your needs.

An example I like is magnesium. The place in your body that has the highest absorption of magnesium is the soles of the feet. Yet how many hours of the day are you barefoot and in contact with the earth? At a guess for most of us, not even close to 1.

Unfortunately weve messed up our home 🌎 which has messed up our fuel.

We all know that food is important, yet there is still so much discussion on what a "healthy" diet is.

Keto
Carnivore
Low Carb
High Carb
Vegetarian
Vegan

Im not even going to list the really alternative diets!

All of these diets have downsides and wont work for everyone. The important thing is understanding why it works for some and not others. Dont stick to a diet religously, pay attention to the subtle messages your body is trying to tell you.

The did you know series...

Did you know that within our muscles we have something called Myofibroblasts? You may remember back to biology and being taught that Osteoclasts breakdown bone and Osteoblasts rebuild!

Myofibroblasts actually do the same thing but with our muscular and connective tissues. The anatomy and movement nerds maybe saying "yeah, we know this" but what they may not have figured out yet is the way they are stimulated is even more important.

Our fascia signals and stimulates the myofibroblasts. Meaning if not correctly stimulated then you will slowly be altering your biomechanics in a negative fashion. The quesiton to ask yourself is; what is the human designed for? 🤔
