JUMP18 aims to help parents and children to live healthier lives.

JUMP18 is a team of five young Aruban healthcare professionals and a pediatrician that developed a hands-on initiative to empower children and their parents to improve their health and wellbeing. The philosophy of JUMP18 is to motivate and enable Aruban children and their parents to live sustainable and healthy lifestyles needed to prevent the harmful effects of childhood obesity. The vision of JUMP18 is to eradicate the incidence of childhood obesity in Aruba and improve the overall wellbeing of Aruban children. Our mission is to ensure the healthy well-being of Aruban children by reducing the burden of disease that is associated with childhood obesity.

Yesterdays hike with Frank from !

Frank and his wife Ineke have been organizing hikes for Jump18 participants since the beginning of the Jump18 program and for that we are really grateful🙏🏽

These hikes bring the family together for a lovely afternoon in nature🌿

Last Friday was a special work out class: Dr.Busari was our work out coach for the day!

It was a lot of fun the participants really enjoyed running uo and down with him and doing some great exercises!

This is what Jump18 is all about, finding JOY in movements that benefits the body.

Yesterday we started the first workout session together with the participants of Jump18💪🏼🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We have coach Gabriela for outdoor workouts on Wednesdays and coach Lyan at the kickboxing studio 🥊

This a time for the kids to improve their stamina and to unlock new skills along the way✨️

We are so excited!

Our Dietician Lyanne Maduro was invited to give toddlers and caregivers a presentation about "Healthy eating" and additional topics like "sleeping schedules for toddlers" and "Screen time".
