Cacao & Sound Healing

The ultimate way to relax is the combination of the heart opening effects of ceremonial cacao and the soothing vibrations of sound bowls and other traditional instruments. We begin with a little ceremony, mindfully drinking the plant medicine and a meditation. Followed by an hour just laying down, covering yourself with blankets and supporting yourself with props. And then enjoying the vibrations of sound as the ancient plant medicine begins to sink in.

Our next event is sold out, but we will plan another event in March. Date will be announced soon!

A WANDERING MIND IS AN UNHAPPY MIND

Research conducted by Harvard University on Mindfulness shows that the human ability to think about what is not happening, is a cognitive achievement that comes at a cost.

Researchers suggested that how often our minds leave the present moment is a better predictor of our happiness than the activity itself we are engaged in.

Isn’t that fascinating and an extra motivation to be present and practice mindfulness?!

I am very excited to announce a Cacao & Sound Healing Concert at JetYoga.

As the ancient plant medicine of Cacao settles in, we journey into the healing vibrations of sound.

This sound concert brings together a variety of instruments, woven into one continuous story. You will be invited to enjoy the interplay of beautiful Tibetan sound bowls, the rolling rhythm of an ocean drum, the delicate shimmer of wind chimes, the grounding heartbeat of a shamanic drum, and the soft embrace of rain sounds. All these elements merge into a unique inner journey that will guide you into deep relaxation and expanded awareness.

The sound concert will be given by Romano den Heijer, sound therapist and founder of www.holisticaruba.com, who just recently moved to Aruba.

Discover how you can breathe yourself into a healthier, calmer and happier life!

Friday, September 19th 6.30-8.30pm

Our state of being gives rise to the rhythm of our breath, and in turn our breath shapes our state of being. Our state of being influences our reactions. So through the breath we have the power to influence our inner state and how we respond to life.

In this workshop you will learn breathing techniques that can be easily integrated into your daily life, helping you reduce stress in just a couple of minutes. The breathwork is complemented by deeply relaxing yin yoga poses and concludes a long final relaxation, ensuring you leave the workshop with a peaceful state of mind. You’ll also gain the tools and confidence to breathe your way into a calmer, healthier, and happier life.
