Thank you to everyone who joined us for your openness 💛, curiosity 🔍 and engagement.

Because of your presence and contribution, we look back on a very successful “Working with Genograms” workshop ✨
​
It was inspiring to explore family patterns, connections and stories together — from the roots 🌱 to the branches 🌿.
​
Over the course of three afternoons, we explored the foundations of systemic therapy, discussed key concepts, and practiced extensively with drawing genograms ✍️ and asking meaningful questions 💬.
​
As a first edition, this made the experience all the more special 🤩
​
Grateful to everyone who showed up and engaged 🙏💫

Eight has always been my favorite number ♾️💗 It was no coincidence that PSYMIA was founded on February 28th, 2018 😉✨
​
Today we celebrate eight years of 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨.
​
Alongside the care we provide each day, this past year marked an important milestone: PSYMIA’s participation in educating 3 promising professionals on their journey to becoming Health Care Psychologists (GZ-psycholoog), which will result in them earning their valuable BIG-registration upon succesful completion 👩🏽‍⚕️📚🌱
A lot of hard work was required to make this possible, and I consider it a great responsibility and honor to guide these highly capable and dedicated ladies through this process.
​
With my specialty in Child and Adolescent Development, I often pause to reflect on PSYMIA’s development since her creation — and on my own growth in leading her with intention and dedication 🌿
As I reflect again today, I am filled with love for this work, gratitude for the privilege of doing it, and genuine joy in what we have been able to build together.
​
I am beyond grateful to God, who has blessed me far more than I could have asked for 🙏🏽✨ and I trust in His guidance for the future.
​

Na maanden van voorbereiding is het zover: de opleiding tot Gezondheidszorgpsycholoog (GZ-psycholoog) bij PSYMIA, in samenwerking met het MdC en OC, is officieel van start! 🎉
​
👩‍⚕️ Jennifer en Nohemy, beide orthopedagogen bij Bureau Multidisciplinair Centrum (MdC), zijn deze week begonnen met hun stage bij PSYMIA! De komende 13,5 maanden zijn ze twee dagen per week bij ons, onder begeleiding van Meliza Lopez.
​
👩‍⚕️ Denise, masterpsycholoog bij PSYMIA, is maandag en dinsdag gestart met haar stage bij het Orthopedagogisch Centrum, waar ze de komende tijd onder begeleiding van Johnny Boekhoudt haar opleiding zal doen.
​
Met een flinke dosis motivatie en passie gaan deze deskundigen aan de slag! We wensen onze PIOGs én hun werkbegeleiders een inspirerende en succesvolle tijd toe. 🚀💡
