Helichrysum italicum - immortelle

Essential oils are used for their aromatic, healing and health benefits. Essential oils are the essence of the plant giving you the full benefit of all the healing properties from within the plant.

Helichrysum italicum is a well-known for its skin rejuvenating qualities so it is used in cosmetics and pharmacolgy. The italidione component found only in helichrysum italicum is responsible for the healing properties of immortelle.

Helichrysum italicum in Bosnia and Hercegovina grew wild until the supply became scarce and a sustainability plan was made to meet the demand for this precious oil to farm immortelle to protect this plant from extinction .

At eko-aromatik we have almost 2 million helichrysum italicum plants growing in Capljina, Herzegovina. Our farm is 60ha We are both EC certified organic as well as USDA certified organic. Our distillery uses state- of-the-art vacuum technology which ensures the plant is distilled under a lower temperature thus giving a therapeutic grade of pure natural helichrysum italicum essential oil.
