TBW - Tuzla Brain Week

TBW - Tuzla Brain Week Not only is the accent on the maintenance, enhancement and prevention of diseases occuring in the neurological system, but also on student scientific research.

The International (Bio)medical Students Congress "Tuzla Brain Week" (TBW) is a traditional project implemented by the Student's Council "MEDICUS" every year in March since 2013. The initial idea of the project was born thanks to the students of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tuzla and their engagement and desire for the promotion of neuroscience in general public's everyday activities. This project is a part of the global initiative "Brain Awareness Week" (BAW) which was initiated by the DANA Foundation and is commemorated every year during the middle of March since 1995. Our Council is a part of the BAW initiative since the very beginning as the only registered representative in Bosnia & Herzegovina supported by the DANA Foundation and FENS.
