Sa zadovoljstvom vas obavještavamo da smo uspješno realizovali još jednu regionalnu konferenciju, na kojoj je predstavljen veliki broj naučno-istraživačkih radova.
Želimo da izrazimo našu iskrenu zahvalnost domaćinima 4. Regionalne One Health Konferencije, odnosno Fakultetu veterinarske medicine Univerziteta Svetog Ćirila i Metodija u Skoplju, kao i suorganizatorima Institut za javno zdravlje R.S.Makedonije.
Ova konferencija je također pokazala neophodnost uspostavljanja i rada naše regionalne BOHN mreže, jer naučni i istraživački rad potvrđuje važnost i potrebu za implementacijom holističkog pristupa Jednog Zdravlja u svim naučnim i stručnim oblastima.
Na ovoj konferenciji smo također imali priliku da predstavimo nove članove BOHN mreže, i to "One Health-BG" iz Bugarske i "Međuministarski komitet za Jedno Zdravlje" sa Kosova.
Važno je napomenuti da je ova naša konferencija akreditirana kao Pripremna međunarodna OSH konferencija (PIOC), te da smo postali službeni partner foruma OSH for All Lyon 2025.
Stoga, sa sigurnošću možemo zaključiti da naša regionalna BOHN mreža postaje sve jača i veća, te ostaje lider u razvoju i implementaciji pristupa Jedno Zdravlje na naučnoj osnovi u regionu Balkana.

The Balkan One Health Network is organizing the 4th Regional One Health Conference - “One Planet, One Health: Together we build comprehensive and sustainable healthcare”, hosted by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje. The conference will take place on 3 September 2025, at the AURORA Hotel Complex in Berovo, Macedonia.
The BOHN Conference is accredited as a “Preparatory International OSH Conference” (PIOC) by the OSH4A Foundation, and has become an official partner of the OSH for All Lyon 2025 forum.
Our main goal is to achieve optimal health and well-being for all people, animals, plants and the environment in the Balkan region. We invite all interested organizations and experts to join our network and contribute to our shared goal.

Balkan One Health Network najavljuje Treću Regionalnu "One Health" Konferenciju: „Izazovi Jednog Zdravlja u zemljama Zapadnog Balkana“, koja će biti održana 07.06.2024. godine u Novom Sadu, R. Srbija.
Domaćini treće konferencije, u ime mreže, su Institut za javno zdravlje Vojvodine u saradnji sa Naučnim institutom za veterinarstvo „Novi Sad“.
Podsjećamo da je Prva Regionalna One Health Konferencija održana u Zenici, Bosna i Hercegovina, u junu 2022. godine, a druga u Budvi, Crna Gora, u septembru 2023. godine.
Treba naglasiti da je One Health pristup zapravo najbolji način pripreme, prevencije i odgovora na buduće pandemije / epidemije. Ponosan sam što smo predvodnici ovakvih pozitivnih promjena u regiji Balkana, ali i Evrope.🌼🌎🌍🌏🌞

After summarizing the impressions and achieved results, I can proudly point out that, in the organization of the Balkan One Health Network, we successfully held the 1st Regional One Health Conference - “One Health Approach Perspectives in the Western Balkans Region“.
I sincerely thank all our respected lecturers such as Professor Ulrich Laaser (Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Bielefeld, Germany), Professor George Lueddeke (1HOPE - Chairman), Emeritus Professor David Wiebers (Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota, USA), and other colleagues from Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Our next steps are the expansion and strengthening of the regional BOHN network, scientific research works based on the One Health approach, the introduction of the One Health approach into educational systems in the region, public education about the potential of the One Health approach, especially in the prevention of future pandemics, approaches to the problem of antimicrobial resistance, food security, climate change, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030) and others.
