Not every asthma flare-up is an emergency, however some symptoms require timely medical attention before they get very serious.

Visit Urgent Care if you experience symptoms that don’t improve after using your quick-relief medication (e.g., inhaler) within 15 minutes or get worse:

🔵 Mild to moderate wheezing or persistent coughing
🔵 Chest tightness, but you’re still able to speak in full sentences
🔵 Night-time symptoms affecting sleep or daily activities
🔵 Early signs of a flare-up like fatigue, tight breathing when walking or climbing stairs, and shortness of breath that doesn’t improve after using your quick relief medication.
