BRAC University’s Counseling and Wellness Centre organized the Mental Health Awareness Campaign 2025 on 5 November 2025 (Wednesday) in observance of World Mental Health Day.
The event was open for the students, faculty members, and administrative staff of BRACU.
The campaign began with a welcome speech by Shami Suhrid, Senior Counselor and Coordinator of the Counseling and Wellness Centre at BRAC University, followed by remarks from Ms. Tahsina Rahman, Joint Director of Student Life, on the significance of mental well-being. The session continued with an address by the Chief Guest, Professor Arshad Mahmud Chowdhury, PhD, Honorable Pro Vice-Chancellor of BRAC University, on the significance of self-care and its profound impact on overall well-being, encompassing physical, mental, social, and spiritual dimensions.
The campaign featured interactive activities such as the Creative Play Lab, Empathy Studio, Calm Corner, Gratitude Station, Self-Growth Garden, Kahoot, and received strong participation and positive feedback.
The associate partners of the event were the BRAC University Leadership Development Forum (BULDF) and the BRAC University Cultural Club (BUCuC).
