আজ আপনাদের একটি গল্প শুনাবো,
একজন হিমোফিলিয়া রোগী শাহজাহানের গল্প,এক্সিডেন্টে যার পা থেতলে গিয়ে পচে গিয়েছিল।
পরবর্তীতে চট্টগ্রাম মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে দীর্ঘসময় চিকিৎসার পরও সে পা পচে পচে উপরে উঠে যায়,যার ফলে একসময় তাকে বাচানোর জন্য চিকিৎসকগন পা কাটার সিদ্ধান্ত নেন।
কিন্তু এটা কি এত সহজ!
যেখানে সামান্য চুরি কাচির খোচা লাগলে রক্ত বন্ধ হয় না, সেখানে পা কাটা অনেক বড় ঝুকিপূর্ণ অপারেশন। যেটি প্রথমে চিকিৎসকগন নিতে চাননি। তারা পংগু হাসপাতালে পাঠানোর পরামর্শ দিয়েছিলেন।
কিন্ত রোগীর সক্ষমতার কথা বিবেচনা, হিমোফিলিয়া সোসাইটি অব বাংলাদেশ চট্টগ্রাম চ্যাপ্টারের প্রতিশ্রুতিশীল ভোলান্টিয়ারগনের নিবিড় পরিচর্যা অনুরোধ, পর্যাপ্ত ফ্যাক্টর ইঞ্জেকশন সহযোগীতা, সোসাইটি, বিভিন্ন দানশীল ব্যাক্তি,প্রতিষ্ঠানের ঐকান্তিক প্রচেষ্টায় বাংলাদেশে উদাহরণযোগ্য সফল অস্ত্রপচারের মাধ্যমে শাহজাহানের সে পা কেটে বিচ্ছিন্ন করা হয়। এবং সফলতার সাথে রক্তক্ষরণ বন্ধ করা হয়। ধীরে ধীরে সুস্থ হয়ে উঠেন মারাত্মক রক্তক্ষরণ রোগী শাহজাহান।
কিন্তু নিম্নবিত্ত পরিবারের সন্তান ২৮ বছর বয়সী শাহজাহানের জীবন চলবে কিভাবে?
ছোট ছোট দুটি বাচ্চা নিয়ে সে যেন চোখে সব অন্ধকার দেখছিল।
কিন্তু হিমোফিলিয়া সোসাইটি অব বাংলাদেশ চট্টগ্রাম চ্যাপ্টার আবারো উদ্যোগী হয়ে তার কৃত্তিম পা প্রতিস্থাপনের আয়োজন করে।
তার ফলশ্রুতিতে আজ ২৮ এপ্রিল ২০২৫ ঢাকার শ্যামলীতে সফলভাবে তার কৃত্তিম পা প্রতিস্থাপন করা হয়।
এই জার্নিতে হিমোফিলিয়া সোসাইটি ছাড়া আর যারা শাহজাহানের সহযোগী হয়েছেন বিভিন্ন মানবিক ব্যাক্তিত্ব চিকিৎসকগন সর্বোপরি মহান সৃষ্টিকর্তা।
বেচে থাকুক শাহজাহানদের স্বপ্ন, বেচে থাকুক মানবতা, বেচে থাকুক হিমোফিলিয়া সোসাইটি অব বাংলাদেশ এবং ওয়ার্ল্ড ফেডারেশন অব হিমোফিলিয়া।

The story of a hemophiliac patient, Shahjahan, whose leg was crushed and rotted in an accident.
Later, even after a long treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital, his leg rotted and rotted, as a result of which the doctors decided to amputate his leg to save him.
But is it that easy!
Where even a small cut of a knife does not stop the bleeding, amputation is a very risky operation. Which the doctors did not want to do at first. They advised sending him to Pangu Hospital.
But considering the patient's ability, the request for intensive care from the promising volunteers of the Hemophilia Society of Bangladesh Chittagong Chapter, adequate factor injection assistance, the society, various charitable individuals, and the tireless efforts of the institution, Shahjahan's leg was amputated and separated through a successful surgery that is exemplary in Bangladesh. And the bleeding was successfully stopped. Shahjahan, a severe bleeding patient, gradually recovered.
But how will 28-year-old Shahjahan, a child of a low-income family, live?
With two small children, he seemed to be seeing all the darkness in his eyes.
But the Hemophilia Society of Bangladesh Chittagong Chapter took the initiative again and organized his artificial leg transplant.
As a result, today, April 28, 2025, his artificial leg was successfully transplanted in Shyamoli, Dhaka.
Apart from the Hemophilia Society, various humanitarian personalities who have been Shahjahan's collaborators in this journey, doctors, and above all, the great creator.
Long live the dream of Shahjahan, long live humanity, long live the Hemophilia Society of Bangladesh and the World Federation of Hemophilia.
