Jala Neti for Sinus, Migraine & Cold Relief | Natural Remedy

If you suffer from migraines, sinusitis, bronchitis, frequent colds, or nasal blockages, Jala Neti can be a highly effective natural solution.

What you’ll need:

A Neti pot

A towel or tissues

1 tablespoon of salt

1 liter of water

How to prepare the solution:
Dissolve one tablespoon of salt into one liter of water. Boil the water first, then let it cool down to a lukewarm temperature. Make sure the water is not too hot, as the inside of the nose is very sensitive and may experience a burning sensation if the water is too warm.

How to perform Jala Neti:
Sit or stand comfortably. Insert the nozzle of the Neti pot gently into one nostril. Tilt your head slightly so that the water flows through one nostril and comes out through the other. Make sure to keep your mouth open throughout the process and breathe through your mouth.

Repeat the same on the other side.

Practice this at least once a week for best results.

Important precautions:

Avoid this practice if you’ve had recent nasal or ear surgery. Wait until the area is fully healed.

Refrain from doing Jala Neti if you have a nasal bleed.
