"A rare fracture, a complex challenge, and a life changed."

Recently, we had the privilege of performing an anterior odontoid fixation on a 30‑year‑old gentleman with a neglected, 2.5‑year‑old, very unstable odontoid fracture. For years, he had endured persistent neck pain and restricted movement.

In our setting, such chronic and unstable odontoid fractures are exceptionally rare — and managing them in a resource‑limited environment adds another layer of challenge. With careful planning, precise ex*****on, and the dedication of the entire surgical team, the operation went smoothly.

I’m happy to share that the patient is now doing well. This case is a reminder that with determination, teamwork, and adaptability, we can deliver world‑class care anywhere in the world.

As -salamualaikum. I am happy to inform you that I have passed AO Spine Global Spine Diploma (GSD) exam.
Actually, GSD Exam is a formal assessment of competencies required to manage patients with spinal disorders. It is designed for experienced spine surgeons through out the world who want to certify their knowledge and enables candidates to demonstrate that they have attained a level of knowledge expected of a specialist spine surgeon after 5 years of practical experience and valid for 5 years from the date of examination.
I hope this will inspire me to provide standard care of spine treatment to all my patients.
