Recently, we participated in the Sustainability Day 2025 expo, organized by the UN Global Compact Network Bangladesh (UNGCNB).

The event brought together ambassadors, policymakers, business leaders, civil society representatives, academics and the UN system, united in advancing the sustainability agenda and shaping a better future for Bangladesh.

During the event, we showcased our RMG sustainability initiatives and the sustainable impact of our SBUs, Ecovia and Greensect, highlighting our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable growth.
A big thank you to the UN Global Compact Network Bangladesh for providing this amazing platform to share our journey and learn from others.

Air pollution is a growing global concern that affects lung health, especially in urban areas.
Recently, in collaboration with Evercare Hospital Dhaka, we hosted a lung health session to help our employees understand common issues such as breathing difficulties, asthma and early signs of serious conditions, while learning simple steps to protect their lungs.

Recently, we had the privilege of hosting students from Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) at our LEED Gold-certified manufacturing facility, Dekko Garments Limited.

The students toured our operations and acquired practical, hands-on knowledge beyond textbooks, engaging with our experts on sustainable manufacturing practices, workflow optimization and real-world applications in the apparel industry.

Observing the curiosity, dedication and enthusiasm they brought to learning was truly inspiring. The experience provided an excellent opportunity to engage with emerging talent, share professional insights and support the development of the next generation of apparel industry leaders.

Recently, Dekko ISHO Group had the honor of hosting the senior leadership team of TOM TAILOR at Dekko Readywears Limited, one of our apparel manufacturing facilities. The visit was especially significant as it marked the first trip to Bangladesh by Tom Tailor’s CEO, Mr. Gernot Lenz.

The delegation also included:

- Mr. Bastian Retterath, Director, Buying, Sourcing & Sustainability
- Ms. Fikreta Kicki Tutic, Country Director

During their visit, the team gained an in-depth view of our manufacturing processes, technological strengths, sustainable practices, and workplace culture. The visit fostered meaningful discussions on future collaborations and underscored the ongoing partnership between Dekko ISHO Group and Tom Tailor, while highlighting Bangladesh’s role as a global hub for sustainable, world-class apparel production.
