Signing Ceremony between Dhaka City Physiotherapy Hospital & Shanta Life Insurance

Date: 5th November 2025

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed between Shanta Life Insurance PLC and Dhaka City Physiotherapy Hospital (DCPH) on 5th November 2025, marking a significant milestone in advancing health insurance–based physiotherapy and rehabilitation services in Bangladesh.

Under this collaboration, DCPH will provide specialized physiotherapy and rehabilitative care facilities to Shanta Life Insurance policyholders, ensuring enhanced access to quality healthcare support.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Nafis Akther Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of Shanta Life Insurance PLC, and DR. M EASIN ALI, Chairman of Dhaka City Physiotherapy Hospital. The signing was witnessed by Dr. Md Nazrul Islam, Consultant–Underwriting, and Mr. Kazi Khaledur Rahman, Deputy Manager (Claims & Hospital Management) from Shanta Life Insurance PLC, along with Engr. AKM Myn Uddin Ahmed, Advisor and Mr.Nurul Islam, Genarel Manager from Dhaka City Physiotherapy Hospital.

This partnership reflects a shared vision to promote a healthier society through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to quality rehabilitation care.

I had the privilege of attending the weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Dhaka as a Guest Speaker, where I had the opportunity to discuss the Prevention of Neck and Back Pain through Proper Ergonomics.

My heartfelt gratitude to Rtn. Mamun Akbar, President of the Rotary Club of Dhaka, and Rtn. Lt. Col. (Rtd) Syed Quamruzzaman Azad, President (Elects) & all members of Rotary club of Dhaka for their kind invitation, gracious cooperation, and warm hospitality. It was truly an honor to be among such distinguished Rotarians and to share insights on promoting a healthier lifestyle.
