Humayun Rashid, MBBS, MS (Neurosurgery), FACS (USA), is currently working in East West Medical College Hospital, Turag, Uttara, Dhaka as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department (Current Charge) at the Department of Neurosurgery. He is an expert in his super specialized Neurosurgical arena and has done more than 100 brain surgeries including stroke surgery during his thesis work which was accepted by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. Later on, his work has been published in International journals. He is especially experienced in Neurotrauma, Neurocritical care, Stroke surgery, Neuro-oncology including brain tumors, brain abscesses, Spine surgery including spinal trauma, spinal tumor, pr*****ed disc, Pediatric neurosurgery including congenital birth defects like meningocele, meningomyelocele, Hydrocephalus, Chiari malformation, etc. Dr. Humayun is trained to cure different neurological condition like epilepsy, low back pain, nerve compression syndromes like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Chronic pain etc. He is a life member of prestigious society like Bangladesh Society of Neurosurgeons, Neurospine Society of Bangladesh, AO Spine- Asia Pacific, World Spine Column. He has attended numbers of international seminars, workshop and trained in different entities of Neurosurgery. He was trained in Neuronavigation, Minimally Invasive Surgery and Microscopic Neurosurgery while he was specialist in previous working place- Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital & Research institute. He was participated in hands on training programs in home and abroad in the field of Neuro endoscopy and vascular neurosurgery. As an academic professional, he has done numerous research activities and his scientific papers are well accepted and published in national and international journals. আলহামদুলিল্লাহ...
মস্তিস্কের কিছু কিছু রোগ আছে যা বয়স্ক ব্যক্তিদের হয়ে থাকে। সামান্য আঘাতে মস্তিস্কের পর্দার নিচে ধীরে ধীরে জমা হতে থাকে রক্ত। এই নিউরোসার্জিক্যাল রোগের নাম সাবডুরাল হেমাটোমা। এমন ই একজন রোগীকে আমরা এইচ ডি ইউতে যেদিন দেখি তখন তিনি সম্পুর্ন অচেতন অবস্থায় ভর্তি হয়েছিলেন। মাথার সিটি স্ক্যানে ব্রেনের দুই পাশেই দেখা যায় রক্তক্ষরন। দ্রুত অপারেশন এর সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়। বয়স্ক রোগীদের ক্ষেত্রে রোগীর স্বজনদের ভয় থাকে অপারেশন এর পরে জ্ঞান ফিরে আসে কিনা! অনেকেই এই ভয়ে সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে দেরী করে ফেলেন, ফলে অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিত মৃত্যুও হতে পারে। এমন ই এক রোগী ও তার সন্তানের সুস্থ বাবাকে ঘরে ফেরার অনুভূতি ক্যামেরা বন্দি করেছে MD Sany ... অপারেশনটি করা হয়েছে East West Medical College & Hospital এ।
