Govt Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital Address: Mirpur 14, 1206 Dhaka, Bangladesh Government of Bangladesh moved for development of Homoeopathy. Dispensing.

World Health Organization declared Homoeopathy as a alternative medicine . As a result "Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital" established in 1984.It is the only one govment recognization institution in Bangladesh to get bachelor degree in Homoeopathy . The course is Bachelor in Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) ,which is equivalent to MBBS .The course curriculum under Faculty of Pharmacy of "Dhaka University" . It is an institute of Health Department of Bangladesh. Its official name is Govt. Homoeopathic Degree College. Recognized

LOCATION

It situated in Dhaka city .In Mirpur -14 Dhaka Cantonment .Near CRP and Speciall Education Center of Social Welfare Department. e course is Bachelor in Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS). The course consists of 5 years academic education and 1 year internee in Hospital. The course curriculum controlled by the Faculty of Pharmacy of Dhaka University. This course consists of 4 professional examinations. Subject of this course are -

First professional examination.(1200 marks)- 1st year + 2nd year

1.Anatomy 2.Physiology 3.Materia medica &Tissue remedy. 4.Homoeopathic pharmacy. 5.Organon of Medicine. Second professional examination.(950 marks)- 3rd year .

1.Pathology 2. Community Medicine. 3. Forensic Medicine. 4. Materia medica 5.Organon of Medicine. Third professional examination.(1050 marks)- 4th year .

1.Gynaecology 2.Obstetrics. 3. Materia medica 4.Practice of Homoeopathic Medicine.
5.Organon of Medicine. Final professional examination.(950 marks)- Final year .

1.Surgery 2.Psycology. 3. Materia medica 4.Phylosophy & Principle of Homoeopathy.
5.Chronic Disease . 6.Case Taking & Repertory .

For practical Education Of students the construction of hospital complete in 1990. The hospital starts in 1993 by starting outdoor. Now its outdoor and indoor both working. Total Beds of Hospital -100. Departments Of hospital.
