মানুষের শরীরে নতুন একটি অঙ্গ আবিষ্কার:

🎯টুবারিয়াল_স্যালিভারি_গ্ল্যান্ডস নামে আরো একটি নতুন স্যালিভারি গ্ল্যান্ড আবিষ্কৃত হয়েছে। নাকের ঠিক পিছনে ন্যাসোফ্যারিংস অঞ্চল। এ অঞ্চলেই দেড় ইঞ্চি লম্বা এ অঙ্গ পড়েছিল হাজারো বছর আমাদের অগোচরে।

নেদারল্যান্ডস ক্যান্সার ইনিস্টিউটের গবেষকেরা প্রোস্টেট ক্যান্সার নিয়ে কাজ করার সময় এ গ্রন্থি আবিস্কার করেন যা রেডিওথেরাপি অ্যান্ড অনকোলজি জার্নালের ২৩ সেপ্টেম্বর সংখ্যায় প্রকাশিত হয়েছে। গ্রন্থিটি মুলত গলার উপরের অংশকে আদ্র ও পিচ্ছিল রাখতে সাহায্য করে। গবেষকেরা আশা করছেন এ আবিষ্কার ক্যান্সার চিকিৎসায় গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান রাখবে।
