আরাফাতের দিনে রোজা রাখার ফজিলত।

বছরের যেকোনো সময়ই নেক আমল করা যায়। নফল রোজা রাখা যায়। তবে কিছু কিছু সময়ের আমল আল্লাহ তায়ালার কাছে অনেক প্রিয় এবং এর সওয়াবও বেশি। তেমনি একটি আমল হলো আরাফার দিবসের (জিলহজ মাসের ৯ তারিখ) রোজা। এই দিনের রোজার মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ তায়ালা বান্দার আগের এবং পরের এক বছরের গুনাহ মাফ করেন।

রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেন, ‘ইয়াওমে আরাফার রোজার বিষয়ে আমি আল্লাহর কাছে আশাবাদী, তিনি এর দ্বারা আগের এক বছরের ও পরের এক বছরের গুনাহ মাফ করবেন’। (সহীহ মুসলিম, হাদীস নং- ১১৬২)।
