সন্তানের জীবনে মা-বাবা'র প্রশংসার গুরুত্ব!

স্বাভাবিকভাবেই সকল অভিভাবক চায় তার সন্তান সবকিছুতে ভালো করুক, এগিয়ে যাক। সন্তানেরা যখন কিছুতে ব্যর্থ হয় তখন আমরা অভিভাবকরা হয়ত রাগ দেখিয়ে নানান কথা বলি, অন্যের সাথে তুলনা করি, যা মোটেও উচিত নয়। আমাদের কঠোর ভাষায় এসব কথা আমাদের সন্তানদের নিজেদের প্রতি আত্মবিশ্বাসের জায়গাটা দুর্বল করে দেয়। সন্তানদেরকে Support দিতে হবে, ছোট ছোট কাজে প্রশংসা করতে হবে এবং সেই সাথে কোনো কাজে ব্যর্থ বলে তাদেরকে বকা না দিয়ে তারা যাতে চেষ্টা করে যায় সেই Support টা দিতে হবে।

মনোযোগের অভাব, এগুলো অনেক বাচ্চাদের মধ্যে দেখা যায়। যেহেতু ডায়াগনোসিস হয় না সেহেতু অনেক বাচ্চা আনডায়াগনোসিস থেকে যায়, আমরা মনে করি এ বাচ্চাটা খুব দুষ্টু বা খুব শয়তানি করে, আসলে তা নাও হতে পারে, হতে পারে বাচ্চাটা ADHD তে সাফার করছে।

বাচ্চাদের বদমেজাজ ( TEMPERA TANTRUM) কি?

টেম্পার ট্যান্ট্রাম সাধারণত দুই থেকে চার বছর বয়সীদের মাঝে বেশি দেখা যায়। দুই থেকে চার বছরের নিচের বাচ্চারা আক্ষরিক অর্থেই অবুঝ শিশু। ওরা যখন জেদ করে তা হলো রাগ আর হতাশার বায়োলজিক্যাল রেসপন্স। জোরে একটানা চিৎকার করতে থাকা, উলটো হয়ে পড়ে যাওয়া, হাত পা ছুড়তে থাকা, দম আটকে কাশতে কাশতে বমি করে দেয়া - এগুলোকে টেম্পার ট্যান্ট্রাম (temper tantrum) বলা হয়।

প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের ও ADHD হয় কি?
