Dr. Abu Ali Ibn Sina, an Australia-based Bangladeshi scientist and graduate of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) with a PhD from the University of Queensland, has created an innovative device that can detect cancer within 10 minutes❗
Now a Senior Lecturer and researcher in Biomedical Sciences at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), he designed the device to be simple, affordable, and highly effective—cutting diagnostic costs by up to 80% and making it usable in regular clinics.

The technology relies on a color-changing liquid to identify cancer cells and has already been sent to the United States for large-scale testing in partnership with Harvard University, backed by multimillion-dollar investments.
Expected to be commercially available in about 18 months, this breakthrough could transform early cancer detection and save countless lives worldwide.
