Every year on 3 March, the World Health Organization observes World Hearing Day to raise awareness about ear and hearing care. In 2026, the theme is “From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children.”

According to WHO, around 90 million children aged 5 to 19 live with hearing loss worldwide. Many of these cases could be prevented or identified early through simple screening and timely care.

Hearing plays a critical role in speech, learning, confidence, and social development. Early detection can change a child’s educational and life outcomes.

Sajida Foundation with the vision of “Health, Happiness & Dignity for All” in 2017 collaborated with Autism Recovery Network (ARN) to setup a center in Dhaka, Bangladesh to provide world-class interventions for children with additional needs.

Autism Recovery Network is a leading Applied Behavior Analysis - Verbal Behavior (ABA-VB) therapy service provider in Asia for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) or without formal diagnoses, including neurotypical children.
