On November 12, 2025, Notre Dame Debating Club welcomed the enthusiastic minds of Batch 2027 to its long standing legacy. The orientation program, held at the college auditorium, was not merely a welcome but an invitation to join a 72 year journey.

A special documentary showcasing our history, culture, and heritage was presented to inspire our newcomers. The event was graced by the presence of our respected Principal, Dr. Father Hemonto Pius Rozario, CSC, and Mr. Ranjit Kumar Nath, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Economics, as special guest.

Through this gathering, newcomers were introduced to the rich heritage of NDDC, connected with fellow debaters, and glimpsed the ideals that continue to define our club, teamwork, discipline, and critical inquiry. The October wave has arrived, carrying the weight of a restless world.

From Iran’s uranium breakthrough shaking global nerves to France’s overnight political collapse, The NDDC Protisshor: October 2025 unfolds a month where power shifts like tectonic plates.
Inside these pages, wars redraw borders. Gaza’s fragile ceasefire, Ukraine’s burning grids, the Indo-Pak frontier on edge, and Sahel’s coups rewriting Africa’s fate.
Economies tremble as Britain rebuilds post-Brexit arteries, NASA listens for whispers from interstellar space, and China recalibrates the global balance at the SCO summit.

But beyond headlines and geopolitics, this edition bears a special heart. It marks the first issue shaped by NDDC’s newest voices, the bright freshers who poured their energy, ideas, and artistry into every page.
Their curiosity meets conviction here; their words carry the rhythm of renewal.

This is more than an issue. It’s a new beginning.
The NDDC Protisshor: October 2025, where the world’s pulse meets the power of youth.

The Notre Dame Debating Club hosted yet another vibrant workshop, sharpening our debaters’ thinking, analytical skills, and argumentative prowess!

On October 22, Umayer Hossain Rahin, NDDC Gold Debater and Vice President: Debate & Workshop, led an inspiring session on “Types of Motions.” Through his dynamic presentation, participants learned how to analyze analytical, actor, and policy motions, from understanding the core framework of a motion to effectively structuring and presenting their arguments.
Batch 27’s new members and our experienced seniors actively engaged in learning, discussion, and practice reflecting NDDC’s enduring spirit of growth through collaboration. Every question, every discussion, and every example empowered our members to think sharper and speak with greater confidence.

We've also handed over the valuable certificates to the winners of ‘Creativity Contest 2025’ in that session. We hope, this will encourage the talented designers of batch 27 and help them to do better in future.
Because at NDDC, we don’t just prepare for competitions.
We prepare for legacy.
