We celebrated International Womenโ€™s Day at TEAM this year in alignment with UN Women theme for 2026, Rights. Justice. Action. which remind us that true progress happens when safety, dignity, fairness, and opportunity are not just promised, but also practiced.

While purple is traditionally recognized as the color of International Womenโ€™s Day, we chose not to limit our celebration to a single color. The new government elected through a widely acclaimed free and fair election has raised the hopes of the nation, the business community being no exception. As the international community has also hailed the country's democratic transition, it is opportune for Bangladesh to enhance its trade and develop its economy. The apparel industry, being the lifeline of the country's economy, is also awaiting an overhaul to attain the next milestone.
