At Rejuva Wellness, we honor the journey of every woman. This World Menopause Day, let’s celebrate strength, nurture wellness, and redefine beauty beyond age.

Menopause & Your Skin, Hair, and Wellness

1. Skin:
During menopause, declining estrogen levels reduce collagen and skin elasticity. This can cause dryness, fine lines, sagging, and increased sensitivity. The skin may also appear thinner and dull due to slower cell turnover.

Tip: Hydrate well, use ceramide-rich moisturizers, antioxidants and sun protection daily.

2. Hair:
Many women notice hair thinning or increased shedding because hormonal changes affect the hair growth cycle. Some may even see unwanted facial hair due to androgen dominance.

Tip: Focus on scalp health, protein-rich nutrition, and supplements containing iron, and omega-3s. Phytoestrogens are plant-based compounds that mimic the effects of estrogen in the body — naturally supporting women during menopause by easing symptoms like hot flashes, mood swings, and dryness, and by promoting bone and heart health. Flaxseeds, sesame seeds, whole grains cruciferous vegetables are phytoestrogens rich food.

3. Wellness:
Hot flashes, sleep disturbances, mood swings, and fatigue are common. These hormonal shifts can affect metabolism, bone density, and mental well-being.

Tip: Balance hormones naturally through nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, and medical guidance when needed (such as nutraceutical support).

October is not just Breast Cancer Awareness Month—it’s a reminder for every woman to prioritize her health, self-check, and overall well-being. At Rejuva Wellness, we believe early awareness and holistic wellness go hand in hand in protecting women’s health.

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, yet early detection can save countless lives. Regular self-examinations, timely mammograms, and awareness of physical changes are essential steps toward prevention and early diagnosis. But awareness should extend beyond disease—it should inspire a lifestyle of self-care and mindful living.

Wellness is the foundation of prevention.
