Human Development Research Centre - HDRC A leading development intervention and policy research organization in Bangladesh, since 1999. HDRC has a pool of multidisciplinary experts.

Human Development Research Centre (HDRC) has been a proven leader in the field of socio-economic research in Bangladesh since 1999. Humane development through research and action-guided by this motto, HDRC's vision is to accelerate the process of humane development through research and actions. The organization, through mainstream research studies and technical assistance with outstanding quality and high level of accuracy, has achieved an exclusive position in the development arena of the country. It has proven expertise in large scale data collection and management capability. Analytical ability, statistical analysis and report writing both in English and Bangla are core skills of HDRC. At present the organization has over 300 completed studies by its name. Data collection and database creation has been made using ICR and/or Smartphone aided technologies for a number of studies. HDRC has proven expertise in real time data collection.

HDRC is conducting the Baseline Study of the USDA McGovern-Dole School Feeding Programme, with the goal of understanding children’s nutrition, education, and school participation more deeply.

This effort is being carried out in close collaboration with Intellecap, WFP (World Food Programme), CNRS (Center for Natural Resource Studies), and Room to Read (RtR). Together, we are listening to teachers, parents, and students — learning about their challenges, hopes, and dreams.

The insights from this study will guide future actions to ensure that every child not only comes to school but also learns with energy, health, and happiness.
