TEAM Manufacturing Limited and TEAM Accessories Ltd came together to celebrate the journey of 2025 with a glamorous cultural night at Le Méridien Bangladesh.

Team Group Sustainability : Episode 2

Team Group proudly unveiled Episode 2 of its Sustainability Report, marking another meaningful milestone in our ongoing journey toward transparency, strong governance, and deeper ESG integration. This impact report was written, conceptualized and designed by TEAM Group based on GRI.
Abdullah Hil Nakib, Deputy Managing Director, emphasized that sustainability is no longer optional—it is a shared responsibility and a core business imperative.

Mohammad Monower Hossain, Head of Sustainability, highlighted the imperatives of trust, data-driven reporting, and honest storytelling, showcasing key initiatives of TEAM Group including climate action, water stewardship, lean, policy and governance, UN Global Compact commitments, and a demonstration of a digital ESG data dashboard been developed internally by TEAM Group’s sustainability and IT team.
Afroza Shahin, Managing Director, reaffirmed that people and nature remain at the heart of Team Group’s long-term sustainable growth.
From intent to impact, Episode 2 reflects an evolving sustainability journey—driven by purpose, collaboration, and accountability.
The report was unveiled by the management and stakeholders of TEAM group including Swisscontact, Solidaridad Network Aisa, BGMEA, Susnex, The ESG Institute Bangladesh and others.

Even if Bangladesh attains the GSP Plus, country’s apparel and textile sector could not enjoy the duty-free facility if the rules of origin and safeguard clauses of the scheme are not changed or amended.
Therefore, Bangladesh has to make all-out diplomatic efforts to convince the EU to change these clauses. There are instances of changing GSP clauses by the EU.
