Things like cramps, headaches, brain fog, dizziness when standing up, unusual fatigue, heavy legs, or poor recovery can all be signs that your fluids and electrolytes are running low.

That doesn’t mean every headache or every bad session is caused by electrolytes.
But when several of these signs show up together, it’s worth paying attention.

Especially if you:
- sweat a lot
- train indoors or in the heat
- do longer sessions
- or struggle to drink a lot of water

Small signals matter.

If you’re sweating heavily — especially indoors or in the heat — electrolytes help replace what water alone leaves behind.

So no: electrolytes don’t replace carbs.
And carbs don’t automatically solve dehydration.
