Conscious Connections provides Psycho-social and emotional support to individuals and aims to make Mental Health Services accessible to all.

Sessions are given in English and Hindi and are offered physically and via online mediums.

📣 I am excited to announce that in less than a week, on 📅 April 1st, the Lymphoma Support Group India will hold its bi-annual conference at the 📍Hotel Crowne Plaza, Rohini West, New Delhi. This is a very special and one-of-a-kind event, and it is, of course, very close to my heart.

👉 It is special because it is organised by true cancer warriors; I refer to them as heroes, because they have defeated cancer and are doing their best to spread hope not only in , but they are breaking all the borders to spread the across the .

👉 This is unique in that, unlike other conferences or events, it is entirely initiated, designed, and executed by , , and even patients who are still fighting the disease.

💜 This is extremely close to my heart, and it holds a special place in my life, because we launched this initiative in May 2014, just as I began my clinical work in cancer. I remember that the group began just with one survivor and that within months, many more joined their hands. Over the last eight years, we have gained 4,400 members from all over the world, not just India and Asia. We have attempted to contribute as a team by sharing knowledge, sharing the cancer journey, and offering support to those affected by this disease. Our zeal, focus, vision, and mission are all centered to in cancer. Because we believe “JANOGE TOH JEETOGE” which is “ IF YOU KNOW IT, YOU CONQUER IT”.

📌 Millions of people around the world continue to live without adequate cancer information. And it is these groups that are most vulnerable. We must emphasise the importance of spreading accurate information not just on a specific day of the year, but every day and every moment. This is the responsibility that each one of us must undertake.

📣 "Every moment is an excellent opportunity to raise cancer awareness, and each of us is a cancer advocate. Let's in cancer by sharing information."

Every one of us has power to make a positive and sustainable change and when it comes to cancer care each one of us as individual, health care providers or governments must contribute. Today 4th February, as we celebrate lets acknowledge our power and responsibility to work on of in cancer. This can not be reached overnight, but we can all start from some where to achieve this… Lets make sure that each one gets care and attention they deserve and no one is left behind..
Lets make accessible cancer care possible for everyone who needs it, Lets and fight disparities and lets sustain

Have you ever thought on how one feels to get cancer diagnosis in a low resource setting?
Being diagnosed with cancer in a country where health care facilities are scarce or inaccessible or unaffordable is indeed challenging. As we focus on this year’s theme of which is , on 4 February, i will zoom into the aspects of equatable access to cancer care for all, irrespective of cultures, geographies or other boundaries..
If heath, health care and well being are basic rights to humans, why are these being denied in some parts of the world?

Disparities in cancer care are one of the biggest challenges in globally. On 4th February, as we acknowledge , lets focus our attention to the most vulnerable groups of people who not only face the challenge of cancer diagnosis, but are also devastated by inability to access cancer care they deserve. With this years theme on , i will talk on how we could provide and in cancer, irrespective of political and geographical differences.

October marks the month for … But our responsibility and concern for its awareness must be expressed every single day… So lets join hands and pledge to empower and educate about the effects of its early detection by self examination, screening and prevention….Because together all our actions matter…
And indeed Breast Cancer is Curable if detected and treated early and thus TIME is the key and the clock is ticking..

We have faced numerous challenges in almost every area of our lives during this current pandemic. But one of the hardest hit sectors is and to be more specific, its intensity was significantly greater in . On World Lymphoma Day 2021 join us to know from the experts themselves about how they overcome such challenges in India and what are their future plans to provide optimum Cancer Care to their patients. We would also focus on listening to the experiences of the patients and get inspired by their fighting spirit.
