Welcome back sitters! Welcome Gaëtane Coopmans!!
So much has happened since March 2020, it's really hard to know where to start.
All of us, in one way or another, struggled. Collectively.
Some of us struggled with the loneliness of a lockdown. Challenged with being far from our families, relying on small screens to stay connected.
Some of us were confined to small quarters, during long, grey dark days that drained our energy, our hope, and our motivation.
Some of us baked. Some of us drank. Some of us worked and worked and worked more because that, at least, felt a bit normal.
Some of us grieved for loved ones that were suddenly gone.
THIS is why we're so happy to be opening the studio doors again tomorrow. We're ready to sit with you. To connect. To talk about our shared experiences. To take a look at the emotions we struggled (and continue to struggle with). To cultivate kindness and compassion for ourselves and others. To just be and breathe together.
Our re-opening class will be a 30-minute mindfulness meditation guided by our new teacher, Gaëtane Coopmans from 7pm-7:30. We are SO looking forward to having her as a teacher. With her vibrant and loving energy, she will speak to your heart and cheer you on in your practice. You will feel warmly supported and guided.
