We’re proud to announce: Yarrow Wound Brush wins first prize at the Up & Away internationalisation programme! 🏆
After months of inspiring sessions, personal coaching, and knowledge sharing, we wrapped up the Up & Away internationalisation course and we’re honoured to have been awarded first place.
The Up & Away programme, powered by Provincie Oost-Vlaanderen, Provincie Vlaams-Brabant, POM Antwerpen, and Provincie Antwerpen, and organised by BIOVIA, supports healthtech and life sciences startups in their journey toward international growth.
Throughout the programme, we worked on our market strategy, regulatory roadmap, funding approach, and investor readiness, supported by experts and mentors from across the ecosystem.
A huge thank you to all the incredible speakers and contributors who guided us along the way:
Andrew Herweg, Luc Segers, Flen Health, Bingli, Hippo NDX, Sarah Boone, Evan Chuck, Vincent Keereman (Xeos), Ludovic Ampe (Neuroventis), Henk Joos, Els Verhulst (FIT), Relu, and PDC Line Pharma.
And to the organisers who made this trajectory possible:
Katrin Bouwens (Vlaams-Brabant), Sara Landuydt (Antwerpen), Céline Van den Abeele (Oost-Vlaanderen), Liz Renzaglia, Luc Kindt, Roel Smolders, and the Innovatiehub Vlaams-Brabant.
Winning first prize is a major recognition for the work we’ve done and a powerful motivator as we take the next step: executing our internationalisation strategy and launching the Yarrow Wound Brush in the US in Q1 2026.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to all the partners who make Yarrow’s journey possible:
Care Support, Stad Antwerpen, Ching Foe, VLAIO, Joeri Staessen, FIT (Siegfried Verheijcke), Superellips, Pitchlaw, Alleva, and Extricare. This first place belongs to our entire network, thank you for believing in our mission to innovate wound care.
