✨ Aletheia – Ritueel van Licht & Loslaten ✨

Tijdens mijn tentoonstelling Aletheia nodigde ik bezoekers uit om deel te nemen aan een ritueel: een moment van verstilling, waarbij ze op een briefje schreven wat ze wilden loslaten of laten groeien.

Op 4 december, onder het licht van de volle maan, zal ik deze briefjes verbranden tijdens een vuurceremonie — een symbolisch moment van transformatie en zuivering. 🔥🌕

Deze volle maan wordt ook wel de Rouwmaan genoemd. Ze markeert het einde van een cyclus, een tijd om afscheid te nemen van wat geweest is en ruimte te maken voor het nieuwe.

Een maan van heling, rust en hergeboorte — waarin vuur en as herinnering worden, en stilte vruchtbare grond.

Deuren zijn open van 14-17uur, en om 15u is er een performance in de kapel 💋

In de voormalige Sint-Jozefskliniek aan de Komvest bij Kom! is er nog tot en met morgen het Artweekend van House of Art. Er is een expo met werk van 15 verschillende kunstenaars. De expo is morgen te bezoeken van 14 tot 17 uur. Morgen is er nog om 15 uur een performance. Ze verwachten dit weekend he...

During the upcoming ARTWEEKEND, I will present the premiere of my new series “Circus” 🎭— inspired by Carnivàle and the faded splendor of old circuses. A journey through ten images where costume becomes symbol, and illusion reveals its sacred undertone.🔮

Once a high priestess of silence, she drowned her entire temple in shadow to escape prophecy.

She arrived each year on the final night of winter, cloaked in silence and shadow, her gown stitched from forgotten dreams. In her gloved hand, she held a mask shaped like the crescent moon—half-smiling, half-starved.

Some say she once ruled a court of mirrors, where no one spoke and no one aged, each guest forever masked, their faces melted into myth. Others whisper that she was never alive, only summoned—a wish made in grief and ritual.

Those who dared follow her always vanished before dawn.

Oh silent keeper of shadowed thresholds,
you who wear the veil of the unseen,
who dwell in stone and silence,
draw near.

With hands clad in leather,
you gather the remnants of what was forgotten.
With every step, you trace
the outline of what cannot be named.

We do not call you by name—
for names falter before the divine unknown.
We do not ask you to reveal,
only to remind.

Remind us of the still places,
where the soul kneels in quiet awe.
Remind us of the sacred weight
of darkness wrapped in lace.

Come, bearer of mystery,
come, sacred figure between breath and becoming.
In your presence,
let the veil fall inward—
and open what the eyes cannot see.
