Psychological Therapies - Brussels

Psychological Therapies - Brussels English speaking Psychotherapist based in Brussels We can find ourselves seeking therapy at many different points in our lives, for many different reasons.

I passionately believe that good mental health is the key to a happy and fulfilled life, and this can be accomplished when we take time to understand ourselves. For some of us it feels easy and natural, for some it can seem daunting. My aim is to take the fear away and make the therapeutic process feel positive. I have experience of working in many different therapeutic settings with many different client bases. Some of the issues and conditions I have helped people deal with are; anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, stress management, addictions, panic, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, self esteem/self confidence, personality disorder, life transition (parenthood) and many other challenges besides. I have a special interest in working with clients preparing for parenthood, who are coping with perinatal loss, experiencing ongoing impacts of birth trauma, or who require treatment or support for mental health and adjustment difficulties emerging in pregnancy and the postnatal period. My therapeutic work is personalised to best suit your individual needs by drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), all of which help clients to adjust to the life changes/difficulties they are facing; to work through grief and loss; to manage their symptoms and negative responses; to find balance in their lives; to enhance their relationships and self-identities; to live a life that encompasses access to calmness and compassion; and to make decisions that align to their core values.
