Dear all,

Regarding the quarantine all over the world due to the CO-VOD19 we understand that the most of us feel stressed. But please do not forget that for the moment the social isolation is our only weapon against the virus. 🙏🏻
At this very moment we have the chance to do so much things we wanted, but we never had the time due to our busy work schedule. So this is why we from the Faculty of Public Health, MU-Sofia would like to suggest you some ideas to while staying at home:🏡

Part 1 (The self dedicated-one)
💡
1.Workout every day at least 30-40 min🏃🏻‍♂️
There are a plenty of videos in the internet – all you need is motivation and a bit of space! Don’t forget how important it is the sport activity for being healthy.

2.Watch a movie🍿
Everyone has a list of movies to watch but never had the time. Make popcorn, relax in your favorite couch and choose a movie in foreign language in order to improve your language skills!

3.Read a book📖
In these busy days we often forget to read. Look through your library stuffed with all kind of books – we are sure you will find at least 2 of them which will interest you!

4.Challenge yourself🏋️‍♂️
Did you ever wanted to learn dancing, drawing or writing? Make a research in the internet for an activity which interest you. You will keep your mind busy for at least 1-2 hours a day and meanwhile you will stimulate your brain activities.

5. Last but not least – now you have the time to be for real with your family! 👨‍👩‍👦

Appreciate every moment with them and don’t forget – if you have an old sibling you have equal responsibility for their health as for your own!☺️

The world is passing through a very hard moment right now due to the CO-VID19 pandemic situation. No one was ready to face this health, economic and social challenge. We strongly believe that each of us should stay informed only by the official medical sources, strictly follow the measures by the World Health Organization and be responsible for his own health and the health of their families.

We, from the Faculty of Public Health, Medical University-Sofia advise you to stay home and hopefully together we will pass through all this!

This Is Public Health - Europe

The Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER) in collaboration with The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) launched a new This is Public Health-Europe campaign (#ThisIsPublicHealth, #TIPH) in 2019 to communicate the message of the importance of public health. The overall objective is to enhance the visibility of public health and opportunities for careers in public health for the benefit of populations. Such an effort should also increase the level of interest among potential students to pursue public health education/training to reinforce the current public health workforce.
