🥦 Brocoli and sweet potato 🍠 salad.

🌱Broccoli
🌱Sweet potatoes
🌱Chickpeas
🌱Fresh cilantro
🌱Tahini and cilantro dressing
🌱 Roasted pumpkin seeds

Super easy and done in no time: steam or boil the brocoli, boil the sweet potatoes, use canned or fresh chickpeas.

Don’t forget to rince your veggies under cold water so they don’t keep on cooking and become all mushy-mushy.

For the Tahini dressing:
- One tablespoon of tahini
- Two tablespoons of lemon juice
- One table spoon of vinegar
- A pinch of turmeric
- Salt & pepper
- Fresh coriander

Healthy and nourishing lunch bowl looks like:

🥦 steamed broccoli, still crunchy
🥕 grated carrot
🥑 1/2 avocado
🌱 germinated seeds
🌿 fresh basil

For the sauce: tahini, lemon juice, turmeric, salt & pepper.

For the protein intake: chickpea flour pancake with black beans hummus. In my belly before I thought of taking a picture.

How do you keep your body clean ?

Here are a few tips :
🌱Drink a large glass of warm water as you wake up, and warm water throughout the day.
🌱 Take some deep abdominal breaths during the day.
🌱 Get some daily physical activity: walking, swimming, cycling, climbing, anything that makes your body move.
🌱 Eat greens : spinach, lettuce, kale, brocoli, cabbage, mint cilantro, parsley, etc.
🌱 Reduce meat intake, favour a plant-based diet.
🌱 Don’t snack between meals, let your digestive system rest.
🌱 Get enough sleep.
🌱 Laugh, as often as possible.

I haven’t posted any yoga picture or video in a very long time. Today’s the day. I wanted to share the little victory of mine.

This is Grasshopper, and it just kinda happened.
The grasshopper spirit animal is a symbol of good luck and prosperity and symbolizes stability, courage, fertility, balance and freedom. Basically all at really need at the moment.

Grasshopper pose, Parsva Bhuja Dandasana in Sanskrit, which means “Side staff on the arms”. It is also known as Maksikanagasana, Dragonfly Pose.

The combination of all of the above help to ensure moving into the final posture in a safe way. The hips need to be warmed up well enough, the forearms and wrists need the strength to hold the body while in a twist, and the lower back needs to be flexible enough to move in a twist. The strength of the core muscles and pelvic floor muscles (when in a twist) help to remain in balance, with soft breathing.

Grasshopper Pose is a tricky yoga asana for any yoga practitioner. With a proper warm up and preparation, it can, however, be a fun, funky pose that you may practice regularly. Just remember to breathe, enjoy, and have fun while exploring your sense of balance in this twisted balancing pose that will no doubt challenge you in a good way, both physically and mentally.

Make sure you listen carefully if your body tells you it doesn’t want to go too deep into asana.

🏠 One gorgeous and super confortable villa just outside Polop, the cutest village ever.

☀️ One radiant and burning Sun.

A gorgeous retreat where everyone could simply be themselves, learn the art of farniente and detox body & mind.

❤️ And my heart singing, everyday.
That strong feeling of gratitude to have found what I am here for, to be of service and to share my two happy places: yoga mat and kitchen.

And yet, the deep desire to be doing this for the rest of my life.
