Dear Professors, Colleagues, Alumni & Friends,
Since 1990, the IMAPA program has generated approximately 400 adapted physical activity (APA) specialists.
The programme explores the social, pedagogical and technical aspects of physical activity, adapted to the needs of persons with a disability. Thanks to many of our associate partners, the program aims to provide state-of-the-art research and teaching methodology in APA.
The International Master of Adapted Physical Activity is a two year comprehensive program. The first academic year takes place at KU Leuven (Belgium), in the second year the student will follow the first semester at the Palacky University of Olomouc (Czech Republic), combined with a professional/research study period within the scope of their master thesis in a relevant professional/research center. The second semester of the second year will be completed at a partner university based on both the interests and specialization areas of the student.
Gladly I would like to inform you that admissions are open for students. March 15th ( However, this deadline is not fixed, but students who apply after this date should contact students administration to ask if application is still possible ) is the deadline for non-EU citizens and 1st June is the deadline for EU-citizens.
The tuition fee is 938,80 euros + 500 euros for additional (books, seminars, etc) costs
If you know/have any students who would be eligible for the IMAPA program, please inform/motivate/inspire them. In attachment you can find the information brochure, but if you or the student would have more questions, I will be glad to help you or the student.
Warm regards,
Cédric Mallé
