The International Society to Improve Use of Medicines has announced that its next global conference will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal from 19–21 November 2026, bringing together experts, researchers, and practitioners dedicated to improving the quality use of medicines worldwide. Building on the momentum of the previous conference in Chiang Mai in 2023, the 2026 edition will provide a platform to share experiences, present research, and collaborate on practical strategies to promote responsible medicine use.
Key discussions will explore digital technologies for medication management, evidence-based guidelines, patient adherence, affordability, and innovative policy implementation. Abstract submissions are now open, offering professionals the opportunity to showcase their work and contribute to global efforts to improve how medicines are used across health systems.
