July 2025 - had a wonderful week where I experienced the magic of Vedic Art for the first time. And I already dare to say that it forever changed my view on creating and the way I create. ✨ And in that energy, words flow naturally.

Sometimes a painting becomes more than just color on paper — it turns into a vessel for memory. I painted this in remembrance of my sister-in-law’s sweet dog, a gentle soul who left deep pawprints in her heart. Creating something so emotional for someone is never easy; every brushstroke carries the weight of love and expectation.

As an artist who suffers from crippling perfectionism, It was not easy to let go of those expections. But my heart skipped a beat when I saw the expression on her face when unwrapping her gift. I felt truely blessed. ✨

- Muzikaal voedsel -

Achterover gelegen in het hoge gras, met de grashalmen die fluisterend in de wind zachtjes over m’n huid strelen, staar ik naar de voorbij drijvende wolken. De zon brandt in mijn gezicht, terwijl ik stilzwijgend de contouren van het licht omkader met m’n vingers. Dromend. Figurerend in het leven. En ondertussen deze plaat die me meeneemt op de deining van een onrustig hart.
