Sometimes a painting becomes more than just color on paper — it turns into a vessel for memory. I painted this in remembrance of my sister-in-law’s sweet dog, a gentle soul who left deep pawprints in her heart. Creating something so emotional for someone is never easy; every brushstroke carries the weight of love and expectation.
As an artist who suffers from crippling perfectionism, It was not easy to let go of those expections. But my heart skipped a beat when I saw the expression on her face when unwrapping her gift. I felt truely blessed. ✨
