Did you know that sound absorption is not the same as sound insulation?

💡 Absorption targets sound reflections within one room to improve acoustic comfort.
💡 Insulation reduces sound transmission through a partition wall to keep noise from travelling between spaces.

And that requires a very different curtain solution:
✔️ Absorption curtains are made of a single layer, porous textile, ideally pleated and installed with some distance from the wall.
✔️ Insulation curtains have multiple textile layers, including at least one layer of acoustic lining, a heavy and airtight fabric that reduces sound transmission.

While both may look visually similar, their composition and performance are fundamentally different.
