AquaSource Sea Power Algae
AquaSource Sea Power Algae was founded on the purity, density and availability of nutrition from marine sources. Organic Brown Algae (Ascophyllum Nodosum) - AquaSource have sourced high quality organic wild Ascophyllum Nodosum from the Northwest coast of Iceland in the North Atlantic Ocean.
Only fresh, living wild plants are harvested, cleaned, air-dried and immediately ground. Gram for gram, this particular seaweed contains 200 times more iron than beet greens, the richest land-grown vegetable.
It also contains 100 times more iodine than an equivalent amount of any land-grown vegetable, and some 14 times more calcium than cow’s milk if we compare the same amounts of each.
Green Algae (Dunaliella Salina) - Harvested organically off the coast of India, Dunaliella Salina is renowned as being one of nature’s richest sources of dietary mixed carotenoids and contains a large array of other important daily nutrients.
It provides over 200 times per volume the amount of betacarotene as carrots. Other carotenoids present are alpha-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin and cryptoxanthin.
It is rich in chlorophyll, polysaccharides, minerals, vitamins and essential fatty acids such as Omega 3 and Omega 6.
Organic Lithothamnion (Red algae) - This organic seaweed is harvested from the seabed off North West coast of Iceland from the clear, pollution free, mineral rich Atlantic Ocean.
It is an excellent source of vegan calcium, which is essential in supporting normal bone and joint health. It also contains a wide range of other bioavailable minerals and trace elements.
It is harvested in a sustainable manner so that this precious resource is protected for future generations. An extensive quality control programme ensures traceability, quality and consistency.
