Dr. Wahib Hadchiti
He is a graduate of Lebanese University - School of Dentistry with Masters and Diplomas in Periodontology and Implantology from University of Paris cité 7 - France.
He is fluent in English, French and Arabic and wears many hats: an author of international articles (pubmed), clinical director at Department of Periodontology - Lebanese University since 2013, former clinical director at University of Paris cité 7 France, a lecturer in local and international congresses on a variety of topics including periodontal treatment and implant surgery, alumni of European Federation of Periodontology and a member of International Team for Implantology (ITI).

With more than 14 years of experience in both the fields of

Did you know having an extra tooth is a common thing? Some people can actually have more than 32 teeth🦷

These extra teeth are called supernumerary teeth. A mesiodens is the most common type of supernumerary teeth and are found in between the upper two front teeth.

This patient above had a mesiodens which had to be removed as part of his orthodontic (braces) treatment. Sometimes supernumerary teeth never erupt and get stuck in the bone and a simple xray can reveal them during your routine dental examination.

This thick band of tissue called frenum, can open up the space back therefore a Surgical frenectomy or removal of the thick tissue was done by our Periodontal surgeon (a quick healing and painless procedure)

1 week post treatment showed excellent healing.
