After completing my term as President of the Gulf Association of Endocrinology and Diabetes, I take pride in the remarkable progress we have achieved together. Thirteen years ago, I founded this association as a Gulf Chapter of AACE, with a vision to unite specialists across the Gulf under one professional umbrella, a vision that has now become a vibrant reality. Throughout my presidency, I worked to strengthen collaboration among endocrinologists, elevate academic and clinical standards, and expand our regional and international recognition to new levels.
It’s been a privilege to witness how a simple idea I had in 2011 evolved into a respected platform that continues to grow, inspire, and leave a lasting impact on the medical community. My sincere gratitude goes to all the colleagues and partners who shared this journey and helped turn a dream into an enduring legacy.
