Thumb or wrist pain? 📱 Your phone might be to blame.
Too much scrolling or repetitive hand movements can irritate the tendons near your thumb and wrist, leading to a condition called de Quervain’s tenosynovitis. This can make gripping, texting, or even holding objects uncomfortable or painful.
Chiropractic care, combined with targeted stretches and activity modifications, can often help reduce irritation, relieve pain, and restore proper function. 🙌

Neck pain doesn’t always start in your neck—it can actually come from stiffness in your midback. 💥 When your midback is tight, it can put extra stress on your neck, leading to discomfort, tension, and reduced range of motion.
Chiropractic adjustments help improve mobility, relieve tension, and restore proper alignment, allowing you to move freely and feel better. 🙌

Feeling numbness or tingling in your hands or feet? ✋🦶
This can sometimes result from irritated nerves in your spine, which are caused by poor posture, injury, or everyday wear and tear. When nerves are irritated, it can lead to discomfort, weakness, or a “pins and needles” sensation.
Chiropractic adjustments help alleviate that irritation, restore proper nerve function, reduce pain, and enhance your overall mobility. 💪

How many steps should you aim for each day? ✨
A review of 57 studies shows ~7,000 steps/day = major health benefits:
🔹 Risk of death decreases nearly 50%
🔹 Lower risk of heart disease, dementia, depression, and diabetes
🔹 Even cancer & falls showed improvement
The old “10,000 steps” goal is great, but 7,000 is realistic and impactful!

Have hip pain? It might not just be your hip. 🦴
Sometimes hip pain (like hip impingement, when the joint doesn’t move smoothly) shows up along with problems in the low back or the SI joint—the joint that connects your spine and pelvis. Researchers found:
🔹 Many people with hip issues also have SI joint problems
🔹 Spine problems can sometimes cause hip changes too
🔹 Having both hip and back issues can make recovery slower
👉 Takeaway: Hip pain and back pain often go hand-in-hand. If your hip keeps bothering you, it’s worth checking the whole picture. Call our office today to schedule your appointment! 📞

🧩 Did you know your shoulder pain isn’t just about your shoulder?
Frozen shoulder happens when the shoulder becomes stiff, painful, and hard to move. Researchers found that people with frozen shoulder often face:
🔹 Less confidence in handling pain → more daily struggles
🔹 More worry and fear of movement → worse pain and stiffness
🔹 Higher body weight → slower recovery
The takeaway: mind and body matter. Addressing both gives the best chance to regain mobility and ease pain.

Kids and teens who spend lots of time on screens have a greater risk of future heart and metabolic issues—especially if they aren’t getting enough sleep.
Family reminder: less screen, more sleep, more movement! 💛
