Our Story

At APEX Allied Health we know that communication goes far beyond saying words and sentences, and is vital to the life-long learning and well-being of everyone in our community. Our Speech-Language Pathologists (S-LPs) work with children and adults of all ages to promote healthy development and effective communication skills, and to give those who have trouble hearing or speaking a voice. We offer assessment and follow-up for: - Speech Articulation and Motor Speech difficulties - Difficulty with Language Comprehension and Expression - Stuttering and Speech Fluency difficulties - Difficulties with Social Language and Problem Solving - Voice Problems - Feeding and Swallowing difficulties and Picky Eating - Difficulty with Auditory Processing and Phonological Awareness - Difficulties with Reading and Writing We also offer iPad-based Hearing Screenings for children and adults, and provide educational programs and seminars for parents, teachers, nursing staff, and other members of our community We realize that difficulties in hearing and communication can have a significant impact on an individual’s participation in all aspects of life; from play and leisure activities, to school, work, and the ability to live a happy and healthy retirement.
