ELDERLY CARE
PALLIATIVE CARE

COMPANIONSHIP
The benefits of companionship are immeasurable and life affirming. A trusted caregiver can offer you peace of mind that your loved one has a committed advocate with them at all times. MEDICATION REMINDERS
If opening medicine bottles and reading labels is getting harder, then your pharmacist or our Registered Nurse can arrange for a weekly dispenser to be filled and our caregivers can remind you when medications are due. It's good to know your caregiver will be aware of any possible side effects and that they are trained in First Aid and CPR. In consultation with you the client and their RN Coordinator, the caregiver can arrange and facilitate trips to the GP or Therapist as well. NANNY/ CHILD CARE

HOME SAFETY EVALUATION
Our goal is to deliver the best possible care for your family, in your home. Our Registered Nurse will evaluate your home to ensure your living environment is as comfortable and safe as possible, and offer practical advice on how to make your home more accessible to meet your needs. For added convenience we also provide assistance with organizing products from Medical House and other Bermuda services. RESPITE CARE, INCLUDING OVERNIGHT
Some families are called away suddenly (or regularly) and need to know that things can carry on as normal at home in their absence. We also understand that regular caregivers need a break as well. We can provide a caregiver suitably qualified for your circumstances to be with your loved one while you or your regular caregiver is away. TRANSITION FROM HOSPITAL TO HOME
Following treatment or a stay in the hospital, do you require support transitioning from the hospital back to your home? We can provide short term extra support to make your transition as easy as possible. MEAL PREPARATION
Do you run out of energy to cook for yourself or ideas for new and nourishing meals? Are your children too young to be relied upon to eat properly? Would you prefer someone to cook for your elderly parents when you can't? Our caregivers can do all this on their shift and have something ready for "later". Of course kitchen clean-up is also part of the service. CARE FOR THOSE WITH PHYSICAL & SPECIAL NEEDS
Our experienced, qualified caregivers can provide support for those with Physical and Learning Disabilities, promoting independence, social inclusion and assistance with all activities of daily living in Bermuda. SUPPORT FOR VISITING FRIENDS & FAMILY WITH NEEDS
Do you have family or friends visiting from overseas that may need support during their vacation? We can provide the assistance needed for a comfortable, stress-free stay in Bermuda. PERSONAL CARE (BATHING/GROOMING)
Our caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants who have experience in providing total care for their clients. Our caregivers practice holistic nursing, helping clients who are dependent on them for help to make their meals, to shower, use the bathroom and to get comfortable. HELP WITH LIGHT HOUSEWORK
Has cleaning and the general upkeep of your home become too much of a burden? We’ll help with the light housework to ensure a clean and tidy living environment. HIRE CAR SERVICES
Do you have appointments but find it difficult to arrange for transportation? We can provide reliable transport to and from your appointments. OVERSEAS MEDICAL TRAVEL COMPANION
Though sometimes necessary, having to travel overseas from Bermuda for medical treatment can be a very stressful and overwhelming experience for anyone, made all the more challenging if you’re travelling alone. We can provide a caregiver to accompany you every step of the way; there to fully assist with everything from transport to and from the airport, accommodation arrangements, doctor and hospital visits, prescription and medication scheduling, after-care requirements, support for post-surgery needs, and we’ll even help you pack a suitcase. REGULAR FOLLOW-UPS & RE-EVALUATION OF YOUR NEEDS
All of our placements are flexible and are reviewed regularly to ensure you are receiving the care you need. Our service allows you to add or subtract hours to your care schedule or change caregivers without fuss.
