Brunei Darussalam hosted its first Aussie Meat Academy (AMA) Beef & Lamb Masterclass, held at The Airport Restaurant by Anjung Saujana.
Over 60 chefs, retailers and importers from the local F&B industry joined the one-day workshop, led by MLA Training Facilitator, Kelly Payne.
Organised by Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) in collaboration with Austrade, the Australian High Commission, and Royal Brunei Culinary, the masterclass focused on practical skills in handling, cutting and managing Australian beef and lamb β while exploring how these products can be best positioned for Bruneiβs market.
The programme also included opening remarks by RBC General Manager, Haji Jeff Hadiman bin Dato Paduka Haji Danial, and welcoming remarks by Australian High Commissioner, H.E. Michael Hoy.
From hands-on butchery demonstrations to consumer insights and marketing strategies, the session highlighted global best practices and showcased Australiaβs contribution to Bruneiβs food supply and culinary growth.
A meaningful collaboration that strengthens skills, knowledge and industry engagement within Bruneiβs food and hospitality sector.
